These at home outdoor family photos are some of my favorites that I have taken. The Rivers family reached out to me for family photos because their oldest is going off to college in the fall, and their middle child with be studying abroad next year. They wanted to capture this time their family had before two of their three children went away. I think family photos are the perfect way to commemorate such an important time in your family’s lives. You will always be able to look back on the photos and remember that time of life and how sweet it was being all together. They wanted to take their photos at home on their own property and it made for the perfect location. There were so many gorgeous spots.

I had the pleasure of photographing family photos for the Cooksey family while they had three generations gathering together on Kiawah island. It was a special occasion, as the family members live far apart and rarely get the chance to be together. The Cooksey family were such a joy to work with! The Lewis family session was a joyful affair, with the two older teen boys, two older teen girls, and their parents all in attendance. The session was held at the family’s property in North Carolina, which had a barn and several horses. The kids had a great time exploring the property and the surrounding area. Everyone had a great time, and the photos taken captured the joy and happiness of the family.
