HERE’S A SECRET...
most family photographers hate taking pictures of large extended families. It’s too many people and too loud.
They try to give directions to get them to pose correctly, but invariably not everyone is listening. Uncle Joe is in the back cracking a joke, and the whole right side disrupts, meanwhile the little ones in the front can’t stop playing with the family dog. It can feel chaotic.
But for me, that is the perfect image of family.
And those laughs are the moments I capture.
There is so much more beauty to be found in laughter and fun than in the “perfect” pose.
I Capture the connection between people

When I bring your family together, it is for a relaxed photo session, so there will be no pressure for the “perfect” pose. That goal of a “perfect” pose not only drives other photographers crazy, but it doesn’t capture the natural essence of your family. I don't want the "perfect" posed image.
I always bring an assistant

On the shoot, I always bring an assistant, who helps make our clients feel special, but more importantly, comfortable and relaxed! We learn everyone's name before our sessions and their connections with one another so that we can focus on capturing those special connections.
