When it comes to getting your family photos done annually, there are so many benefits to doing so! It’s never too late to start taking your photos annually. Family photos create family time and bonding moments. What more could parents ask for?! Take an hour out of your year for photos and it will be the greatest decision you’ve ever made! Here are just some of the benefits to getting annual family portraits done:
Christmas cards are always such a sweet thing to do for your family! I personally love giving and receiving Christmas cards from my family as they are such great keepsakes and mean a lot to me. Having your photos taken annually is a great way to stay on top of your Christmas cards too because sometimes we end up waiting until the last minute.
A house always feels way more homier when there are family photos on the walls and a ton of little personal touches. Hanging family photos on the walls adds a little pocket of peace in your home and with annual family photos, you’ll be able to update them consistently too!
It’s always such a blast when you get to rummage through old family pictures and reminisce together on the good ole days. It’s a great way to see how much you’ve grown as a family and see how big your kiddos have gotten. This is something I absolutely love doing personally with my family.
Social media is the main way we stay connected. Sharing your family photos on apps like Facebook or Instagram is great for your friends and some close family to see you often! And since not every family member has social media so sending them by mail is even better.
It’s more personable and your family members will be so happy to see some fun photos of their nieces and nephews! I love receiving photos of my family, it makes me so happy!
