I recently had the pleasure of photographing a 10th wedding anniversary session for Tim and Coley in the beautiful city of Charleston.

Today I want to tell you about an incredible senior session I had with the fantastic Ella in downtown Charleston.

The Rickerts family session in downtown Charleston during the winter was a pleasant surprise. After a season of snow and cold, the family was delighted when the sun decided to make an appearance. With the sun shining and the temperature warm enough for a pleasant stroll, the family took advantage of the opportunity to explore the city. We stopped for pictures in various locations, capturing the beauty of the historic city and the joy of exploring together. The children were especially delighted, pointing out the various sights and sounds of the city.

The Ferreira family recently had an outdoor winter family session in Charleston. The session was held in a stunning park with tall trees surrounded by beautiful areas. The Ferreira family had a wonderful time taking pictures, laughing, and making memories together. The chilly winter air and the bright sunshine made the perfect backdrop for the family to take some amazing photos. The family even got to take a few pictures with the tree-lined street in the background!

Emily’s Downtown Charleston senior session was a BLAST! I have always loved capturing senior photos and getting to meet these fun seniors like Emily! We chatted prior to this day about where she wanted these portraits and how excited she was to be a senior and finally graduate.

There are so many great areas to photograph here and it’s always a super fun place for the family. If you’ve been thinking about getting some photos done in Downtown Charleston, do it! You won’t regret it.

Working on extended family sessions has always been something I love to do. For those who don’t know, an extended family session is a session where multiple related families come together to take group photos. These sessions usually are 6+ people and can even go up to 20+ people!

The Ruxmohan family’s Charleston extended family session was awesome. I loved getting to meet every single one of them and getting to know them all as a whole! There were 14 of them altogether and they’ve been wanting some family photos for a while now.

We walked along the streets of Charleston taking some photos and we got so lucky because the weather was absolutely perfect. It was nice out, with no rain and not too hot! Overall, this day was super fun and I’m glad I had the chance to capture these photos for them.
