In the lovely streets of Charleston, I recently had the pleasure of photographing another dreamy Charleston senior session. For her session, she brought two outfits that showed her personality and added more character to her photos. We started by taking photos of her in the beautiful green tops with shorts, that were perfect for a causal vibe that matched the secluded street filled with trees. After a few moments, we decided to switch it up, to her now wearing a ruffled yellow dress, that was the perfect mix of casual and formal.
As we roamed around the streets, I was able to capture many candid and authentic moments. I always advise my seniors to pretend like I’m not even there during their session. This not only helps them feel more comfortable but allows me to capture them being themselves. Another, good tip to keep in mind for your session is to showcase your personality in any way you can, whether it’s by props or outfits. I always feel so special being able to capture these forever moments for seniors, while they get ready to start their newest chapter.
