These Botany Bay family photos in South Carolina were so much fun! Kayla and Ryan celebrated their 10-year anniversary while on vacation. Their family came all the way from Illinois for their trip to South Carolina. I loved getting to meet them and celebrate with them by capturing their family altogether. Moms, dads, sisters, brothers, aunts, and cousins, all of them together at the same time was truly such a special time!
We met up at Botany Bay which is on Edisto Island. This is the perfect location because it offers the most beautiful backdrop. I made sure to take a bunch of photos on the path lined with the most charming overhanging trees. The leading lines of the pathway and the beautiful nature in the background made the subject really pop out. As we walked along the pathway we found this really awesome tree that had branches low enough to climb on. The kids loved getting to climb on the branch and I had a great time photographing their smiles and laughter.
