Family Sessions

The Durbin family traveled to South Carolina for their summer vacation and decided to update their family photos while here. They are such a fun-loving family and we had a blast during their session. When I asked Tim and Stephanie if there were any specific shots they wanted, they mentioned how fearless and independent their son Leo is. They asked that I capture his personality and just let him play and explore. Leo being his fearless self, ran straight towards the ocean as soon as we were close enough! It was so cool seeing their family just have fun and I loved getting to capture those precious moments.

The best thing you can do at your sessions is to let loose and have fun! Sometimes it can feel awkward, or you might look silly, or it’s out of your comfort zone. I get it! But letting loose and making it fun will make all the difference in your photos. Just look at this family for example. They had tons of fun and they look so relaxed and comfortable. KIND WORDS

“Working with Janice was an amazing experience! She was professional and fun. She worked hard to get amazing shots that will hang beautifully on our wall. Janice was able to work with our less-than-happy 8 month old baby to ensure we still got great photos! Definitely call Janice if you’re in the Charleston area!”
