I had such a great time hanging out with the Duck family capturing their outdoor fall family photos. It’s always so much fun meeting new family and getting to be a small part in their life. I know how much family treasure these photos and it means the world to me that I get to do this for them. Meeting new families all the time always makes for great stories and wonderful memories. The Duck family was no different, they were all so ready to have fun with the session and kept each other smiling the whole time. They even got the golf cart out for a few pictures!
When I’m photographing an outdoor family session, I strive to capture the genuine emotion of the moment. I encourage families to interact naturally with each other and I move around them to capture various angles and perspectives. My goal is to create images that are not only beautiful, but that capture the true spirit of the family. I also love to focus on the details of an outdoor family session.
