Recently I got to capture an incredible family session at Neighborhood Park here in SC. This was such a fun day! One of the most fun sessions I’ve ever had, this family’s energy was so amazing. In total, it was 11 people including parents, grandparents, and cousins. The two littlest ones were 2 months old and only ONE day apart! Friends for life! Their older cousin is about 19 months old, so they’re all pretty close in age. Seeing this family get together after a while was such a joy!
We started with a big family picture with everyone in the shot. Then we started passing the babies around, everyone got their turn taking pictures with the littles! The location couldn’t have been more perfect. Neighborhood Park is such a beautiful and scenic park and I just love doing sessions here. Everyone’s personalities were just brought to life by the stunning background. I think my favorite photo is the grandfather holding the 19-month-old and they’re making the same confused face! This family really made some incredible memories during this session.
Overall, the session went perfectly. There was so much laughter and love in the air, it warmed my heart so much to witness. I love family sessions so much because of the memories and moments that I know will be made. Watching a loving family be filled with joy by getting to come together is amazing, but getting to capture it in a photo is an honor. I absolutely loved this family session at Neighborhood Park, and I can’t wait for the next one!
