Last year I had the amazing opportunity to photograph some fall family portraits for the Halter family! South Carolina is such a breathtaking state in fall, and it’s a perfect time to capture some family memories. The backdrop of lush trees, vibrant autumn foliage, and pristine lakes all combine to create exquisite photo opportunities. There are so many fun and creative ways to take advantage of the changing season, with everyone’s individual style and personalities on full display. It’s truly a magical time of year for photos and fun moments with loved ones!
For this session, there was a total of seven people and one of them was the cutest little 11-month-old, Ellison. I got photos of everyone with the baby, and that was definitely the best part of the session. You can see how overjoyed the family was to be around each other and getting to gush over that sweet little Ellison. This family was so full of love for each other and shared so many laughs together throughout the day. It was such a fun shoot! I got photos of the parents together, the grandparents together, and the baby. I loved this location so much for this shoot, the lake in the background gave it such a homey and warm feeling.
Overall, these fall family portraits came out so beautifully and this family made some wonderful memories together. That’s always my goal as a family photographer…to capture the memories and sweet moments between family members and loved ones. I’m honored that the Halter family trusted me to capture their family photos for them, and I loved every minute of it. I hope they cherish these photos for years and years to come, and they can look back on this beautiful time together with love.
