Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing an outdoor senior session for a young man who wanted to pose with his truck. We chose a stunning location that was filled with lush greenery. It was the perfect backdrop for this special moment in his life. As a photographer, I just love shooting outdoor senior sessions. There’s something so special about capturing a young person’s most important milestone in a natural and beautiful setting.
Overall, I had a blast working with this young man. He was so excited to be finished with highschool and he was also eager to show off his truck. We posed him in a variety of creative shots that highlighted both his vehicle and his personality. I had him sitting in the bed of the truck for a few shots too! We even got his sweet mother to join in and those photos came out so perfect. He was also very eager to pose with his gun. He was totally in his element, outside, truck, and gun. And it was perfect! For senior sessions the goal is always to capture you in your most comfortable state where you can just be YOU.
The entire session was so much fun. We captured some truly memorable shots that this young man will be able to look back on fondly for years to come. I am so grateful to have been a part of this special moment in his life. If you are thinking about having an outdoor senior session, I would highly recommend it! It’s a great way to capture the unique personality of the graduate and to create beautiful photos that they will cherish for a lifetime.
